Comments: As of 7/17/2006, there is a bird nesting in one of the huecos of this climb. While there we avoided the climb but notice some thoughtless climbers ignoring the cheeping of baby birds and climbing right through them (using THE hueco that they were nesting in). Though I do not know what the bird is, I do know it is not just a common sparrow, so please, be respectful and stay off this climb until the birds have moved out!

Comments: Perhaps slightly run-out to the chains from the third bolt, but the moves are all there. The crux is well protected being between the second and third bolt and is a short boulder problem to easier climbing.

Comments: Do you have a general vicinity? i.e. northern, central, or southern Arizona. Knowing that might make me consider if it is worth contacting you for a trip there (i.e. how far is it from Albuquerque, or northeastern Arizona.)

Comments: That second photo of the tooth with the clouds is great! Looking from the first photo with blue skies to the second, with the weather looking all gnarly, gives two completely different perspectives of this area.

Comments: Ahhhh, 5.11-? It's gotta be at least one point higher than that! Have not climbed any 5.11 creek climbs yet but the three 5.11- climbs I have attempted I have done onsite. I fell three times from the top of this route before I could complete it!

Maybe I just haven't done enough creek 11s but this seemed harder than .11- to me. Or, maybe I wasn't stemming enough but that top part was rough lay back moves for me!

Comments: AhHA!! Dyno for everybody!? Try a heel hook off the flake out on the right, you can do the move quite static if you get it figured out! Makes it easier too. Beautiful route!

Comments: Great route. Save some #2 camalots for the steep section at the top! Better yet, save some strength for the final move!

Comments: Great route. Been a while since I have done it though (around 2003 when I lived in rainy Portland area). Would be nice to have some photos!
