Comments: Climbed this yesterday. 2 things: 1st--there is a climber's access trail that heads straight up the lateral morraine from highest stream crossing, that bypasses the bivy spot; 2nd--the rules of this climb are repetitive, like Fight Club (1st rule: stay on the ridge. 2nd rule: stay on the ridge. 3rd rule: stay on the ridge)--99% of the time, if you are more than 2 arm spans from the actual ridge, you're doing it wrong, and making it way harder on yourself.

My buddy and I did this easy route last summer and found nothing of interest about it-- the views aren't great and the climbing certainly isn't: the slab at the beginning is ok but run-out (rope is useless), which leads to no good ... more >>
