Comments: Spicey indeed! Probably a bit harder than 10a. There's really only one section to place gear about 20-30 feet above the last bolt and it does the confidence a world of good. You can rap/lower off with a 70m.

Comments: Definitely harder than 10d. Definitely not X. More like 11b/c, and PG for sure. Bubble Boy, 11b, is significantly easier on the whole.

Comments: I lost a black fleece vest with my headlamp in it and my sunglasses (presumably in the same vicinity)-if anyone happens to find them and reads this, I would love to have them back. Basically, the approach from the bottom is steep as hell, disorienting (because you're buried in the trees) and it's very easy to get off trail. In fact it seems like the trail just ends sometimes. And that's how it happened-an angry tree swiped my stuff without my noticing during one such off-trail bush wack!

Comments: Just did it yesterday. South Approach is not easy. But after a few days it started to make some sense. The 5th pitch run-outs are indeed horrendous! 35-40 feet between some bolts and traversing. After the 2nd bolt at least the fall would be clean, but this was a delicate and stressful lead and therefore very satisfying in the end. Awesome, awesome climb!

Comments: Fun little climb. For a spicy top out option, climb through some beautiful, low angle knob climbing (5.5 X). We did it 'cause my partner left a biner at the top of Crescent Arch. I didn't want to leave anything behind and it looked possible. Not an established route to my knowledge but the first pitch is a ton of fun especially because it's basically free solo for the first 200 feet! Some gear and easy simul after that.

Comments: Just attempted this yesterday. The corner on the second pitch is very thin and balancey before the roof. Supertopo calls it .11b and Falcon calls it 10d, I'm inclined to agree the former. In any case, it is a stunning and inspiring line with good, albeit thin, gear.
