Comments: I went up to the Upper Big Thompson Falls today and even though it was - 4 degrees F there was no ice at all. The Upper Falls which are normally in by this time of the year dont even have icicles and have no flowing water. I checked around if someone had hacked any ice but there were no signs of that either. I doubt there will be any ice here for the next month or so.

Comments: I was on Hidden Falls on January 6th....the ice was great.....its big enough for a few different routes....a little brittle though...and DONT anchor off the tilting tree thats at the edge...according to the park rangers in the summers u can see the routes sticking out...its just waiting to go!
