Comments: My 60m rope did not reach the ground from the tree and we had to down climb. Luckily a friend was there to give us hand. Thanks, Chris.

Comments: I've always done this climb as one pitch, and usually traverse over to the mid-point anchors, clip a draw, and keep going. Yesterday I brought a few small cams and placed a 0.5 C4 in the crack to the right of the anchors and kept going up. I traversed over slightly higher up and felt like it was a much more natural line. Just my 2 cents.

Comments: Fun route, very dirty but will clean up with traffic. There is a run-out between the 2nd and 3rd bolt as well. If you take the easy way to the right it's not bad, but if you stick to the arete then be careful because a fall could land you on the ground. This section will take gear, probably a #1 C4 or smaller.

Comments: The 5th bolt hanger/nut fell off this route on 8/23/08 while a party was climbing it. The hanger and bolt were put back on, but only hand tightened. I didn't have a wrench or loctite so I just made sure it was reasonably snug when I climbed it.

Comments: Thanks for the work Kirk; Tracy and I got on one route yesterday before being rained off but had a great time.

Watch out for rattlesnakes in the canal. We had an up close encounter with one on the walk out.
