I understand, and am a firm believer in the concept that numbers don't mean anything. That said, abandoning the numbers and "just having fun" is certainly not what I'm about. I still want to push myself, I have goals when I go climb, and I still use the numbers as a "generic" means of evaluating my performance. But, my evaluations and enjoyment now stem from the many subtle aspects of climbing. Gotta Love Transition. Can you capture it? Gimme the MEAT!! |
