Comments: I can only think of three people to have completed the full Bambi line (FA Thomas Betterton). Thomas, Chuck, and Jon Cardwell. I am curious to see who else has repeated? Any info. A very cool climb, quite hard for me.

Comments: If GD is not started from the two horizontal crimps (the crimp start), what is the alternate start? If it is from stacking pads, then is that really legit?

Comments: Bring it to forum, Richard. I would be interested how to treat a snake bite.

Comments: This comment may be worth bringing up to the level of a forum discussion. It concerns our preparedness to handle snake bite while out at the crags. My impression is that few of us are capable of an appropriate, effective, and timely response to snake bite.

I was bouldering at The Millenium Boulder last weekend, near the end of September, and really enjoying the fall evening, flat landings, and nasty hard problems. Initially there were several other people at the crag. As the sun dipped below t... more >>

Comments: Yeah Scarecrow, the directions are a little confusing on the main Millennium Boulder description as they are from the I-70 entrance, which I suggest everyone avoids as it takes a lot longer.

In the comments on the Millennium Boulder is a better description on how to get to the main boulders from the Red Rocks Entrance #1:

"From the parking lot, one can cross the road and take the RR trail into Jeffco (Matthews/Winters). After a series of switchbacks along a beautiful red wall, a for... more >>

Comments: I tried the sit down start. There seems to be two places one could SDS on this climb. If the lowest holds were used, then I definitely think it increases the difficulty.

Comments: I checked this area out recently and just wanted to add something to make it clearer:

When approaching the boulders from the red rocks trail, follow the trail to the split and then go right.

I took the trail to the left and got turned around for 15-20 minutes.

Comments: Has anyone tried a SDS to this problem? It makes it a lot more fun, but I don't know if it adds any difficulty.

Also, does anyone else want to rate Lono? It's rated V3 here but only V1 in the guidebooks I own. It's the only problem I can finish on Millennium, so I have no idea how to rate it.
