Location: MD : Rocks State Park : Pinnacle : Strawberry Jam (5.8+)

Comments: I can verify Frank's comment. I was leading Strawberry Jam yesterday, stuck a blue #3 Camalot into the wide spot under the flake and it looked and felt like a perfect placement. I climbed past it, fell, and the cam popped. No problem. I had more gear in the main crack below but won't place under that flake again.

Comments: This is a good route to have a go at clean aid. Just be mindful when placing gear just below the upper overhang. I found a #0 C3 to be handy at this spot.

Comments: Carderock is a huge sandbag. This is quite evident from the video that Dan posted which shows a 5.15 climber falling multiple times on a climb rated "only" 12d. On TR, no less. (That's a great little video, BTW.)

Comments: As far away as VA...? just across the river? hell of a trek!
