Comments: The anchors for this route at the top are sketchy. Its one open shut hook and one biner. The biner is worn down dangerously thin.

Comments: This is the easiest lead at Malibu Creek S.P. It is only about 5.3. Fine for beginners & new leaders, it can easily be climbed in regular shoes.

Comments: This route was always a top-rope. The rock up high was a bit loose & iffy in places where a bolt would have been needed so we opted to leave it as is.

Comments: Yes. You traverse on the South(?) side to get to Stumbling Blocks. Then walk on the south side some more till you can hop to a boulder in the water (right after the cave on the north side and before Ghetto Wall) and traverse the north side then walk across to Ghetto wall. The north side traverse is slightly more sustained than the first traverse. Staying higher seems to be easier, but i would be wary of falling because there are some rocks at the base under the water.

Comments: It's called Ghetto Blaster. 13a/b I believe. It's 12d up to the good holds before the top. Then there is a V5 boulder problem to the mantle.

Comments: As of today, the upper two bolts have been replaced, both with 1/2" X 3" bolts. The second bolt will be changed out soon.
The climb should be more enjoyable now without the spinners.
I agree with the .11a rating.

Comments: This is 11a now since the climb goes up to an anchor that is higher than the previous ones. This also adds a couple harder moves at the end of the climb bumping up the grade in my opinion.

Comments: Super fun route. I'd have a buddy TR clean the route instead of taking the draws off while being lowered because the anchors are to the right and its a kind of a mission.

Comments: The Southern California sport climbing book shows bolts for this route but there's none.

Comments: Several weekends ago friends and I made it to the Ghetto Wall by doing a lot of backpack tossing and swimming. Is there a dry way from where the path hits the big swimming hole to the Ghetto Wall?
