Comments: This route has steep moves on good rock with some interesting gear between good bolts. Makes a good direct start to Watch Crystal Crack or Simians.

Comments: I've watched a couple friends lead it. Bold and stiff for the grade.

Comments: Very sustained for the first five clips. Holds have broken off up high and it kinda kills the quality of this line. Not sure how much longer this rig will last (at least at this grade!)

Comments: Yesterday I drilled 27 2" diameter core samples near or on what climbers are calling the "Watchcrystal Crack" as part of a state funded guano research project. AS nitrogen and ammonia levels are determined, the area will most likely be closed for the next 11-14 weeks. Call Center for Guano Studies information line at 970-946-5727 for up to date news on this closure.
Thanks,
Johnson Eggman, president Center for Guano Studies, LLC.

Comments: Really fun route. I'd call the start harder than 5.7 though, especially for short people.

Comments: Seriously? Wow, props to Kozak. That thing would be a HEADY lead. I was talking to a couple locals the other day and we speculated if this route had never seen a ground-up ascent.
