Comments: Strangely enough, geological forces seem to move quite quickly here, the route has completely changed in character and is now unrecognizable, it's even a different color, how peculiar.

Comments: I however do not agree with the above comments. Yes, there are a lot of physically fit people around. It's a gym AND a wall. However, I have seen no rubbing in the face, only helpful skillful climbing. I chose to get a membership, because I could not make it out to enough locations and still be gaining experience. Having said that I can now climb some advanced problems there but mostly stick to INT probs. If you're looking for a good place to blow some steam off, get a good work out, or meet so... more >>

Comments: Seemed a bit chossy and loose in places, maybe it will clean up with more traffic.

Comments: You sandbagger.
Maybe a foothold broke or something. The chalk dust may have been particularly thick that day.
Definitely straight 11.

Comments: Don't forget about the SWEEET waterslide in the heated indoor pool. That's the real attraction for climbers (shower included).

Comments: Don't pay any attention to the rock jocks, more like rock jokes. They spend all week on one open problem, just to stomp it in your face. It's sad when you can send 12 in the gym, but can't even pull the crux on a 5.9 at Lumpy.

Comments: Yes this gym is a bit older, dingier, and a bit dim. That is because it is a climbing gym for CLIMBERS! This gym does not cater to field trips or birthday parties. It is a gym for someone who is serious about training for the real deal (trad of course). It is rairly crowded, is open late and is largely sport (as opposed to TR). Also this gym has the highest quality routes of any gym in Colorado. It is worth going for the bouldering alone.

Comments: Quit yer moanin', this is a huge boon for the Crystal River Valley. Previously there was only a crappy little wall at CMC a little ways out of town. There are a lot of climbers who I'm sure really appreciate knowing there is an indoor option for cold/snowy/rainy days over there.

Comments: Agreed. This is more of a solicitation and doesn't seem suitable for the site, much less the route database. The jokes on me if this place doesn't exist...there was a similar post a while back that was pretty good sarcasm.

Comments: You gotta be kidding me. Why would you post gym routes on here? I can see posting the gym info but plastic routes do not belong here. The moderator should take them down now - Please!!
