Comments: Highly recommend the Lady Slipper start. The grungy looking hand crack is actually nice inside where you're jamming. The bolted second pitch is good for your head. Lead it and the run out Pitch 5 will feel easier. I want to do this one again already it so fine.

Comments: FYI: To update the route, I did the FA of the route with Doug Wermer around 1985. I had been scouting around trying to find good lines for new routes but the obvious ones had already been taken or were too hard work. I guess I did not have Ken Trout's creativity. It seems it has been named Hill's Route but Oliver's Route would be much more friendly if not too late.

Comments: Ken, this route looks fantastic. The photo on your Facebook is something else, but man these are great. I must do this route. Thanks to Crusher and Strappo for finding it.

Comments: Using Camalot sizing, here is how I'm planning to rack up next go: 2 #2s, 3 #3s, 2, #4s, 4 #5s, 2 #6s.

From our high point in the photo, we rapped from bolts using a single 70m rope.

After three day-trips, we've found an approach route that avoids the insane iron ladder, pain in the butt scrambling, and green delights.

Comments: It's wide at what looks like the third pitch that's for certain.

Comments: Ken, what size is the crack. It looks like it gets pretty wide. I'd like to check it out.

Comments: I think it is worth pointing out that the HUGE flake on the 2nd pitch is very loose. This is the flake just before the large roof turns back to the right. The flake is at least 10'x10'and wobbles like a diving board, I would highly recommend just staying in the corner and avoiding this flake all together. If not linking 2 and 3 will keep the flake from hitting the belayer if the leader should knock it down.
