Location: CO : Fort Collins : Poudre Canyon : 420's By: Brett Billings When: 5 days ago | view comment >> | Comments: Yep, if all you are doing is climbing you don't need to have the stamp. It's only required for people hunting or fishing now.

Location: CO : Fort Collins : Poudre Canyon : 420's By: csultimate When: 6 days ago | view comment >> | Comments: Are you sure they no longer require a stamp or did someone just take the sign, thought it was wilderness designation (stamp required), but they do make some exceptions. Very cool if the restrictions are gone for anyone that does not possess a fishing license or the stamp by itself.

Location: CO : Fort Collins : Poudre Canyon : The Palace : The Chamber : The Rack (5.10d) By: Grant Gerhard When: Nov 6, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: Was toproping this route after two buddies top roped it, and jagged a golf ball-fist sized rock zoomed by my head, didn't think wearing a helmet was neccesary because I was on top rope but Watch out on routes like this at the Palace.

Location: CO : Fort Collins : Poudre Canyon : Greyrock By: Stewart M. Green When: Oct 25, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: Hi Nathan! Thanks for your thoughts. If you check the above info for Greyrock it also says to plan on an hour hike to the cliff base and 45 minutes back. I was up there three times this year, carrying rope and a rack, and it took...about an hour! If you're carrying bivy gear and hiking at night, it's gonna take longer. As far as Red Rock Canyon, tell me one route besides Helios, which I added a bolt to last spring, which has a different bolt count than in the little climbing guide. I mean, fella... more >>

Location: CO : Fort Collins : Poudre Canyon : Greyrock By: Nathan Van Horn When: Oct 24, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: Okay, awesome rock! If you own a copy of Rock Climbing Colorado, you can pretty much throw it in the trash.... Sorry, it's an okay book, but Stewart Green constantly gives wrong information through out the whole book!!!! The book says it's an hour hike from parking to the base.... Um yeah, maybe if you have nothing but chalk and shoes, and maybe if you run the entire way.... This would not have been such bad info; however, my climbing partner and I decided to backpack in at nightfall, ... more >>
