Comments: Spring and Fall usually. Summer is usually too hot and winter too cold, though if you're a local you can find days anytime to climb.

Comments: That would make too much sense. Better to just bitch about it and beat your chest proclaiming what a hard man you are.

Comments: I don't agree that this climb is any harder than a 10+ if you climb slab but...it is sharp and the holds are small. The only thing keeping this at a 10 is the pitch of the rock.

Comments: Crux comes at the start and end. May be nice to stick clip the first bolt. The 3rd bolt is high off the ledge and would result in a ground fall if you bounce off the ledge. Still a fun climb if you can keep your head. Some good pockets in the Rocket.

Comments: With the anchors (shared) so far to the left it's best to belay the second from the top, otherwise cleaning the route is a PITA.

Comments: After the 10+ lieback at the beginning, there isn't a section of 5.10 climbing. Just some really sweet and pumpy 5.9 jug hauling! Really sweet if you're into doing pullups on big holds. Easier than some 10b's in the canyon I thought....

Comments: I found this climb to be much more difficult than Lovesnake or Tanks for Huecos, which the guidebook calls 5.10 c/d. It was very slick with only a few hand jams in the way of positive hand holds. My feet were skating all over the place. Also, the unprotected first 20 feet are kind of spooky, but a bolt would feel unnecessary. Be solid in your awkward crack skills.
