Comments: Last weekend the bolts were re-installed. They appear to have been previously "dis-approved" by John Dalbey. He unilaterally decided to chop the bolts. His actions harm the climbing community and potentially risk our ability to climb at Bishop Peak. If you see John Dalbey be sure to let him know that his bolt chopping behavior is not acceptable.

Comments: Bolts have been recently removed from this route by John Dalbey.
btw, in response to the previous comment from Jon Hanlon. This is indeed a new route and does not conflict with Motor Mouth. Motor Mouth is the large, dirty, loose crack about 25' to the right. It is not possible to climb this route and use the Motor Mouth crack for protection.

Comments: I noticed it as well. It appears to be John Dalbey (acting unilaterally). He has removed at least 4 others routes as well as anchor bolts from some climbs. Including a climb put up in 1988 (K-B Trip).

Comments: This route can be toproped by bushwhacking up the gully on the right side of the wall and doing a couple of raps (one 60 meter rope). Beware of poison oak!

Comments: Looks like the first bolt is gone now! Don't know how it came out or was removed, but there is an obvious "patch" where the bolt was. It's not like there was a crack to protect next to the bolt. That bolt was on a blank face. More timid leaders, such as me, appreciate those bolts. I wish people would stop the chopping.

Comments: Why were the bolts chopped? I hope they will be put back up, I thought this was a good climb.
