The Frederick Municipal Forest is a wildlife management area that contains a few toprope areas and the two main bouldering areas detailed in this guide (165 problems from V0 to V9). There are many other boulders waiting to be discovered! The forest is home to many types of wildlife including rattlesnakes. Please be cautious while bouldering, especially on a warm sunny day. The area is extremely popular with mountain bikers as well, and is perfect for a multi-sport day!
